 Carnival to Venice
PROGRAM AND DATES:

 The history of the party of the Boccolo

One day, however, some Frankish knights led by the famous Orlando arrived in Venice; they sought Mary and announced her the death of the brave troubadour.
He had fallen to Roncesvalles bleeding on a rosebush, but before he died he had picked a flower and had begged Orlando to want to bring it to his beloved. The girl took the rose still tinted with the blood of her Tancredi and remained closed in her pain. The next day, in which the feast of San Marco occurred, she was found dead with the bloody flower on her heart.
